The images on the postcards are hidden =v= I took a little time to decorate the back so you will have to choose randomly muahaha! ;v; When all the postcards are taken, I will post a new entry with the real images on them. I'm here again ;v; the 9 days of prayers to my grandma finished yesterday, we were sad again but ok, I feel just 20% better than days ago... that's not much actually but... anyway! I'm here again TuT I don't feel super duper good, but I don't feel very bad either, so let's life continue ;v;

Sorry for my absence, my grandmother suddenly passed away on Friday and everyone in the family were very busy. It was a very shocking scene for me when we found her in her house... is something that I can never forget. The funeral was yesterday and it was very emotive for my parents, all my aunts and uncles, all my cousins and for my sister and me. My paternal grandmother had died just four months ago and I can't believe I lost both grandmothers in the same year. Since now I have no any living grandparent but comforts me to think that none of them is alone anymore.

When a person dies, after the funeral, must spend 9 days where every night the family and friends gather to pray. At the end of prayers people drink coffee and eat some bread that the principal family offers. Some relatives and friends help bringing fresh bread, candles, flowers, coffee or small dinners sometimes. Today will be the first night to pray.

❀ Earthquake + Old Photo

Gosh! Today at 3:20 am I was trying to sleep and I felt my bed was moving =o= You have no idea how earthquakes terrify me!! I jumped off my bed and went to my door frame! The magnitude was 6.1 Richter scale. I scared a lot! D'X

Ok, good stuff now, I bought this photo of an old scene around the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City's downtown ;v; I think the old view was better than the actual one! I loooooove old scenes a lot! My polish penpal once sent me a postcard about her town in the 20's and I love it so much! *v* 

Soon I will write a post about a Postcard Swap, because I want to swap postcards with some people from this "blog world". I hope you're interested in get a mexican postcard ^^U I will choose and buy beautiful postcards and stamps and then I will write my post ;v;

❀ New Christmas Stamps + More

I was surprised that Christmas stamps are already on sale in post office, and postcards too! 

Also I bought other stamps: Day of the Dead, Mailman Day and "Cervantino" International Festival that is popular every year in Guanajuato State.

About my last post, thanks for the girls that gave me their blog links, I will check them later, I'm a bit busy today D': and also I received some private messages, thanks! I will reply to them later :'D

❀ Subway Postcard

I bought new subway postcards but now they're updated with the new line number 12 (gold) which was opened at the end of October. I have not traveled in it yet hehe ^^ And I got tickets of this occasion too! YAY! Many postcards and tickets for my penpals are ready to be sent! :D

❀ Outgoing

A letter I sent time ago and also a package with stuff of my shop ;v; She received it today! I'm happy! ^3^

And my polish penpal received another package days ago so I can show what I sent her ♥ Her letter of course, 2 candies that I like to eat actually XD (I'm addicted to "Chocoretas", they're little chocolate balls covered with mint X9), also a pen, a cute mirror, an eraser, stickers, a bookmark and a little notebook that I decorated by myself ;//v//;

❀ Mailman Day + Stamps

Hey friends! I returned from the little trip with my cousins for ​​the weekend. We went to Hidalgo State to a good place to swim, it was fun and we were very tired for playing a lot in the pool hahaha! Unfortunately on Sunday the weather was cloudy and rainy, but still three of my cousins ​​went swimming! My other cousins ​​and I went to play pool and eat something haha. We returned to Mexico yesterday at 10 pm. 

Some of you must have noticed that my blog was on "Private Mode" this weekend, it was because many of you know that I have stalkers (they're ex-friends) and I didn't want them to find my blog during the weekend without my knowing *paranoid mode on* but now I have reopened my blog for all you. 

OKE! Mailman Day in Mexico is close, November 12, and I wanted to show this envelope that all mailmen left in the mailboxes. You should put money to thank the mailman for his work on get your correspondence. It is an incentive for their good work. The message says: I appreciate your encouragement for another year of effort, I did my best to get your mail on time. Thanks". You must return the envelope on November 12 °v°

❀ Day of the Dead

My favorite holiday of the year. As I wrote in a previous post, on this day all families make an altar in their homes because the souls of dead relatives come to visit us. This is the altar in my house ;v; with photos of our relatives, flowers, fruit, "bread of dead(?)", coffee, beer, water, tequila... and that Coca-Cola and the bag of snacks are for my grandfather XD he liked a lot hahaha! And you can see the chocolate skulls too ;v; with the names of our relatives... yeah~ many; my 2 grandfathers, my grandmother, their brothers and/or sisters, and some relatives that only my parents knew, like my 4 great-grandparents. OH! you can see a photo of my cat too! I don't care what people could say: she is a realtive too! >83 she was with us for 15 years so she deserves to be on the altar TwT I like to think that her little soul can come visit me ;o;

On this day many people visit their relatives in the cemetery directly. We went two weeks ago to visit my grandfather's grave and decorate it with many flowers. In those days people started to do the same.

I went to my school yesterday and the Offerings Contest had begun! Students of different careers created their own altars. The offerings has issues about what they are studying, such as nursing, medicine, chemistry, biology, dentists, etc. Some altars are fun XD I photographed this altar with the "spirits" of important people in psychology hahaha. I wish Freud could analyze me XD
